I had one that would roll on damp wool sweators, wrestling with them and chewing on them. One day I shut her out of a room where some sweators were drying and she jumped up and hung from the doorknob by her front paws. Good thing I didn’t have those lever style door handles.
My Caramel is quite interested when I soak in the tub. She comes in, looks at me with a very concerned countenance, gets up on the edge of the tub, reaches over and puts her foot on my stomach, sometimes tastes the water, and generally seems totally baffled by the whole thing. At least she hasn’t done what I former cat of mine did. He came running once, jumped on the edge of a tub, which was rather wet, and then went right into the water. Fortunately, I was not in the tub at the time. Cat’s are fascinating creatures.
We had big Brit Blue, Smokey, who loved the smell of chlorine when I would Clorox the floor around the sandbox. To him, it was better than catnip! I miss you, guy!
I had a cat that LOVED the smell of bleach. Every time I washed whites he was ROLLING in the basket and after I dumped them to fold he was like a cat on ’nip. He was crazy about that fresh bleached smell.

I’ve had two chlorine freaks in my life and several shoe freaks. It happens.
