Many years ago, I bought a Santa red, marshmallow dressing gown. The first night I wore it, our grey cat decided to grace it with her presence. After kneading it into submission, she curled up and slept all evening. Bedtime came and despite me nudging her, she resolutely remained asleep. My husband tried to pick her up but she did a very good impression of chewing gum stuck to ones shoe, still asleep. In the end I managed to wriggle out of my dressing gown and leave her tucked in. She was very gracious in her victory. I still have the dressing gown and another two made of the same material. They never lost their popularity with the cats.
