Again with the severed baby heads.-I,m guessing the guy in the front was the patron who paid for the painting. I’m also guessing when he saw the sketch, with all the little winged bodies in the clouds, he found them too distracting, and told the artist to just paint the heads.-Creepy by today’s standards – or maybe not, considering “Bride of Chuckie”.
