Let’s see. I showered this morning and had breakfast. What was it that I forgot to do?

“I pledge my head to clearer thinking, my heart to greater loyalty. . .”

I said you could leave your hat on.

He was a key figure in introducing Western art to Japan, part of the general Westernization movement of the Meiji era.
