No disrespect to Herr Hull/ (did he paint this during a lull?)/ Or between commissions/ instead of fishin’/ and it’s not that I’m saying it’s dull…

I will never deny (of course)/ it’s a technical tour de force/ and the water’s well done/ though it’s water I’d shun/ without the slightest remorse..

Painted 2015. How is this in the public domain? Did Steve Melcher get permission to post this? I give him credit for some very timely references recently.

Every time I see one of those humongous container ships, I always think about what an incredible view people must have from the bridge.
