Hearing that Seseme Steet is moving to HBO reminded me how working for the government is like a polite Game of Thrones. “Your enemies may not be able to kill you, but they do have the power to have you imprisoned for a very long time on the most circumstantial of evidence. Beware the lame duck bureaucrat nearing retirement.”
This is the end of Sesame Street. Who needs Sesame Street the MOST, and who is LEAST likely to have HBO? Poor inner-city kids, that’s who. It’s just sad — my kids grew up on Sesame Street, and now, like everyone else, it has succumbed to the almighty dollar.
