What will be done to stop the climbing up the trunk?

I have 2 cats, 1 is only 7 months, other is 13 years. My tree has yet to be touched, 2.5 weeks up.

Something wrong with that cat. I had a dog that loved to chase cats and I have seen several jump to the top of a 6 foot fence to get away from him. He never got one because he could only clear 42 inches (at least that was the most I ever saw him clear).

Our little 7 lb. “Chorkie” helped decorate the tree yesterday. She tossed her squeaky toy up onto one of the branches!

I was wondering if the artist ever had a cat, I had to “wire” my tree to the wall for years until the culprit passed away and she was a “munchkin” cat

An eye hook in the ceiling with the tree tied to it. Unbreakable decorations ate the bottom usually works for us.

Good thinking. Put a couple of unbreakable ornaments around the bottom so the cat can have fun too.

We hang our tree from the ceiling. Too many trees ended up toppled over until we started hanging the tree upside-down from the ceiling. It is a fake tree and not too large, so it is not too heavy, and we had an old hook in the ceiling from when it was fashionable to have hanging lights with chains.

Their cat is unhappy. : )
