Dolphins speak English?
So Long and Thanks for All the Fish!
Dolphins…
I once read an entire book that did not contain the letter ‘E’. The title is Gadsby by Ernest Vincent Wright (the author’s name doesn’t count). He didn’t even use abbreviations like ‘Mr.’ because the actual word contained the letter ‘E’.
In Inuktitut eeee translates as yes, Tukisiviit?
The dolphins seem to be having a massive vowel movement.
Specifically, E is used 11.2% followed by A @ 8.5%, R @ 7.6%, I @ 7.5% and O @ 7.2%. The least used letter is basically a tie between J and Q @ 0.2%.
Only of interest to code-breakers.
Women who stand on kitchen stools when they see a mouse (at least in the cartoons!) use a lot of E’s : “Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeek!”
“Those data”, please. —Also, regarding the letter tallies, are they for running text or lexicon?
