It is indeed how we are conditioned and trained in what it is considered acceptable as targets for humour, belittling and oppression. “Hey look at the stupid [insert colour / religion / nationality / profession / differently abled] and see how funny they are!”
If it was not for the laughter track, we would not know who to be prejudiced against.
