I do fall asleep occasionally, but I never miss a Cardinal’s game.

Totally, totally agree Gladys! It’s the same boring thing over and over but my husband wouldn’t miss one! And yes, he does fall asleep. Sometimes I think watching baseball is just an excuse for a nap.

Baseball has its drawbacks, but it is the ultimate combination of individual performance merged into teamwork. American football, on the other hand, is the ultimate combination of the worst of the US – alternating between violent clashes and committee meetings.

My Dad was “watching” football one Saturday afternoon…snoring to beat the band….I changed the channel….he said to put it back!! …..ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ again!!
