You got that right. Someone wasn’t thinking, that’s for sure. My dishes and the dishwasher are really clean when it’s all done.

Since I am the dish washer,I don’t need any (besides ivory in the shower ) extra cleaning products ! hahahaha

I do have to use a dishwasher cleaner once a month. Calcium build-up can clog the sprayer etc…

In Utah they required by law to use a environmentally friendly soap which requires you run it in your dishwasher every 5 or 10 loads to clean it, plus you have to purchase extra stuff to make sure it rinses fine. Otherwise plain old dishwashing soap leaves things kind of messy, apparently the environmentally friendly kind doesn’t work very good.
