The Born Loser by Art & Chip Sansom SID'S CELL SOLUTIONS Sid: May I help you? Brutus: I need a new charger cable for my cell phone. Sid: Very well. What type of phone do you have? Brutus: A Clarke Model T-4. Sid: That's an oldie but a goodie, they now have a Model T-10 that you can upgrade to. Brutus: Really? What's the difference between the T-4 and the T-10? Sid: Uh...six.
If you upgrade with your carrier via their retail outlet, chances are you are going to get ripped off by the retail outlet.-You’re better off upgrading with an unlocked phone supported by your carrier that you can get at a place like Wal-Mart and just swap the SIM Card from your old phone to your new.-And if you want new supported features to work with your new phone, instead of going to the local retailer, talk directly to the carrier and upgrade your service.-Instead of spending anywhere from $200-600 on a new phone and upgrading the service from $40 to $100 a month, by the unlocked phone the carrier supports for $40-100, swap out the SIM card from the old phone to the new, and then see if the service upgrades are cheaper, like an extra $10-40 a month—this will save you more money.
