The car's been coated with road salt ever since the last snow storm! Gladys: Well, it's all gone now - the car got a through soaking, inside and out! Brutus: Inside? I didn't know the automated car wash could do that. Gladys: It's not supposed to... Gladys: I left the sunroof open!

Many car washes are automated but some also require that the occupants exit while it travels through the wash, then re-enter when it is finished.
