Which one is less expensive nowadays? When I was a kid, we didn’t buy paper napkins at all, because paper towels were less expensive and also more durable and more versatile. So for any meal except Sunday dinner, we used paper towels. On Sunday, we got out the nice dishes and the cloth napkins.

One’s folded in quarter, the other isn’t.
