Boxes are smaller, cookies are smaller, prices are higher, and they won’t even sell them door to door anymore.
I think the not going to door to door is a great disservice to the young ladies. The girls (under parental supervision) can earn self respect, get over nervousness, learn to interact with their community, engage with people of various ages, cultures, and generations.
I get that there are a lot douchebags in this world, however this just seems wrong to me. Something is lost when they come home with a sheet and mommy or daddy brings it into the break room at their work and someone just signs up for it.
For that reason alone I tend to rarely buy any Girl Scout cookies.
