Legally… all one-armed-bandits must display a metal plate (usually somewhere at the back) guaranteeing a percentage pay-back… This is usually around 70%… Effectively this means that when you deposit £100 in the machine… you’ll receive £70 back… Can anyone see a problem with this?

All part of the economy.

The operators have created a profitable niche market.

That’s why it’s called gambling….

I got the impression that my timing was off. I seemed to show up at the casinos about the time their mortgage was due, so they weren’t paying out. Got tired of paying theirs’ and only paid mine.

That’s why the slots are calling one-armed BANDITS.

Playing the ATM is always a winner!

When we lived in LV we’d go to play the slots at one of our favorite casino’s which since I am tuckered out I can’t think of the name of. But we loved it there and they also had great food. My hubby hit the jackpot there several times and I did a couple too.

Why is Brutus coworker wasting money at a casino? That’s not very smart of him, he could go broke very easily.
