Why does Brutus’ boss confide this info to an ordinary, and especially ill thought of, employee? Evidently, aside from having job security despite being incompetent in the boss’s mind, Brutus is privy to inside information, almost like a confessional. Brutus is the boss’s sidekick, as it were.

Actually a very good idea on Brutus’s part. Those companies that have employee profit sharing plans have better employee attitudes and work harder as they become part owners, ergo, bigger bottom lines and more money for everybody…….

Redistribution of funds has a hidden meaning. By letting people go so they don’t have to pay them, the redistribute the funds back to the bosses.

Poor Brutus. It’s so disheartening to get really excited about something, only to have it extinguished almost immediately.

Brutus will be involved in the redistribution of the money, he’s going to carry it down to Veeblefester’s Limo.
