I often asked myself the same question at my last workplace. I worked harder, sold as much, did many less desirable jobs, but bonuses went elsewhere. The only other difference between me and the rest of staff was age and race.

Of course, I had already experienced some discrimination from a boss who used bonuses to encourage more work out of lessor members of the staff. That method didn’t work.

I am surprised he stood up for himself with that body language! Bossy man should have looked below his nose before he responded like that. I guess for a Born Loser, this was bound to happen anyway.

Consider your bonus is that you’re still employed.
