And you’ll read the wrong chapter two days in a row.
I remember that being hard to take!
Don’t worry. You won’t remember it when it comes time to be tested on it.
That’s okay Wilberforce, its not gonna kill you !
You have to learn it eventually.
If you stop learning you’re dead!
Welcome to the Real World, Wilberforce!!
So now you know to read the correct chapter.
Anything you learn can be useable at some point in time?
There’s a lesson in this, but I don’t have a clue what it is.
well, you probable won’t have to relearn it again.
I didn’t mind reading a chapter or two ahead in most subjects, except math…
Brutus has that sly!
Welcome to adulting.
Yes you did my son and l hope that you keep on learning and remembering things that you don’t have to for as long as you live….
I like Brutus’ smile. He appears to be fondly remembering all the times when he was young and did the same thing.
Or fed his homework to the dog.
I guess the concept of learning for learning’s sake is not within his grasp, then. Too bad.
Was any of it interesting?
You learned two things, the other being pay attention to what your assignment is.
Good thinking Wilberforce, you don’t want to waste your time in school learning more than you need too. I am sure your father didn’t.
That’s the best way to learn something.
Only a Thornapple would consider learning something they didn’t need to as a waste of time.
Random access knowledge.
wilburforce understands well that since there’s limited space in your brain, learning something new will knock out something else that you learned before so you have to choose carefully what to read and learn… ☺
So, you learned it a day or week in advance. Now the correct chapter can help you to know why it matters.
Since I ended up as a lawyer I feel the same about every math and science course I ever took. Brutus’ expression in the 3rd is priceless
