Time for a change.

We had a place once where the service was awful. Long waits for everything, wrong orders, etc. But the food was so good, lots of people ate there anyway. You could hear them from different tables—“But the FOOD’s so good.”

Then why eat there? Is someone threatening to shoot your dog if you don’t?

you could have a pizza delivered to eat while you wait

It makes me wonder why they keep going back.

He hasn’t placed an order yet, but he already has a cup of coffee? Okayy.

…and the portions are so small

But the price is right, right?

Been there. Done that. Didn’t go back.

“Yeah, I just come here when I want to kill some time and get sick later.”

Had a place called Betty’s here at home. Just a hole in the wall, but people lined up to eat home cooking and better than just good – it was cheap. 90% of customers were Law Enforcement/County Workers and we old geezers. People cried when it closed during Covid 2020.

Obviously it’s the ambiance.

only good fast food chains with out waitress servers are Boston Market and Subway

makes one wonder why they keep coming back then. :j

Good old Brutus, loyal to a fault.

I used to eat out at a sandwich shop. But, I discovered that bringing food from home was faster, tastier and, of course, cheaper, too.

I’ve been in places like that, where you are studiously ignored by the waitperson behind the counter.

Funny line……..

Brutus eats there because he’s built up an immunity eating Glady’s food.

So you would you really expect the Born Loser to eat where they have good food and good service.

The wait is the best part of the lunch experience there.

We are all creatures of habit, the waitress is nice and this is the closest place to the office….

But better, perhaps, than the company???

But way better than my Gladys’ food and no service…

that joint is obviously hoping that the old russian adage that the food tastes better the longer you wait for it will prove true…
