There is much carrion in this land of ours. Sorry – I was just discharged from the hospital (I was in for pneumonia). I was having difficulty breathing but the guy in my same room went down had no good kidney, a failing liver (He was on a waiting list to get a new one), and colorectal cancer. I heard he and his doctor talking about this. Talk about crying because I had no shoes….

He’s his own comfort animal.

Love that ’Merican Airlines. The in-flight meal is always biscuits with gravy and grits.
