i’m not going to ask how he recognized his friend…

Was his name Chuck?

I hate to use that line from Patton (1970) about a soldier finding what used to be his friend during a war, so somebody else use it.
I’m thinking more about Rodney Dangerfield’s line from “Caddyshack”: “This steak still has marks from where the jockey was whipping it.”
Be glad you aren’t joining him. :-o
well if he was old, it be tough.
