I’m not saying I’m old but I had to change my font size to “Billboard”.

I don’t want to say I’m getting old but I just threw my back out throwing my shoulder out!

You know you are getting old when your finger cramps scrolling down to find the year you were born on a website.

You know you are old if…

You and your teeth don’t sleep together.

When you say something to your kids that your mother said to you and you always hated it.

It takes longer to rest than it did to get tired.

Everything hurts and what doesn’t hurt doesn’t work.

You know you are old when your grandkids are fascinated by your landline handset.

That’s a whole other world that I’ll never understand.

Dogs by Pink Floyd. Every time I listen to it I expect it to skip…“dragged down by the stone-stone-stone-stone…”

Reminds me of the night many many years ago at the cottage when me and a couple of friends got very drunk. Before passing out we put a Steely Dan album on the turntable. When we woke up in the morning there was this terrible scratching noise coming from the stereo. Upon closer inspection we discovered the record must have skipped all night and wore half way through the vinyl. Fun times. Great memories!

No greater smell than when you opened the plastic over a new LP, and the excitement when it was a tri-fold,with a picture and lyrics inside…aw

Don’t think of it as getting older.

Think of it as getting closer to Death.

Listening to a small-town radio station in ca. 1960 — they put on a record and it skipped for five minutes before anybody at the station noticed…

That tune has been skipping through my head for ages.

I just noticed Rory is looking at an album by the Boars. I wonder which song is his favorite. People Are Strange or Rory On The Storm? Shame Jimbo Morrison died so young.
