On Christmas eve I was very grateful to be done shopping. And on Christmas day, I received a double handful of gift cards. Mail's here.

I don’t like the IDEA of gift cards… but the fact is, there is less wasteful spending done by anyone who got me a gift card. Chances are, I’m buying me something NOBODY else would have thought of with it. A lot of actual gifts sit around gathering dust while the purchases of a gift card get used. So I’m in a quandary about how I REALLY feel about the nasty/nice little things.
