GPS is a satellite system.

That’s true, but phones need service to download the map.

With a GPS on the dash or windshield, you don’t have to keep going to the phone.

This is a perfect example of how my use of language has gotten lazy. I use my cell phone in place of a GPS system now, but I still use the term GPS when I’m using it that way. How many of the rest of you do that? I still say that I ‘dial’ my cell phone too. That’s not very accurate either.

how sad…a fun part of our vacations was reading the maps and finding cool places to make pit stops!

Looks pretty flat out there. What they need is a compass.Roads are probably laid out on a grid anyway.

Also replace ### with a number between 300 and 400.

The last time The Bucket Family have been on a Road Trip was 3 years ago! When they went on a Safari, next meet up with Larry’s brother, and then went to Mt. Rushmore. Those were great adventures!

Well Eddie, it looks like ws will have to use the old fashion way to figure out how to get home. Sacrifice the oldest child and read his entrails…….Or use the new method. Follow the road home. But if we get rid of the oldest zchild….there will be more food at the table……
