Why'd you quit being a school nurse? Toby remembers. What? No, I don't. Hey, mom. This is my class. We're sick of math. I told them you'd call everyone's parents and send us home. You didn't quit because of that. Was it after you painted everyone in our class a green, and ran through the school yelling plague!?
I doubt that it was any one incident in itself that led to her resignation. More likely it was an accumulation of aggravation, and the ‘plague’ incident was probably the tipping point.
