The Buckets by Greg Cravens for November 17, 2014
Transcript:
Well, it was raised on a tree farm, chop down, tossed onto a giant truck with a couple thousand others... Then, manhandled into a tree lot, it was showed around by who-nose-how-many shoppers. Today it was mashed into a plastic sleeve, tossed onto our car, tied down tight... And driven across town. Then we bundled it into the house and jammed it into a stand. So, yeah, the poor thing has a kind of thin place. Drape it in plastic and wire. I'm not taking it back.
Kind of early for a christmas tree ain’t it? It’s not even the week of Thanksgiving, nevermind that I’ve been blasting Trans-Siberian Orchestra since the day after Halloween.
