After forty-five year, my expectations for great change as the old year passes over into the new one have diminished drastically. New Year’s Eves still count as milestones by my reckoning, but the miles have grown considerably shorter, and the stones correspondingly smaller ;)

I still write 2010 on some of my checks – yes, some of us still use checks when the ATM is down.

At least for 2000 we had the Y2K paranoid reaction to laugh at. However Eddie you can do all that stuff you said too. No one will mind. As far as the Calendar – it depends which one you use. I have four – the government federal one starts Oct 1. which is useless for the most part.

Maybe in 2015 they will move you over to running the liquor department.

Me thinks the little urchin has a point.

For that I have no idea Eddie.

Challenges can be fun, even if hard. The last five years before I retired were FUN. As a electronics tech working with micro volts, I ended up in a group working with high energy, Kilo volt systems. Even the occasional smoke & flame on the work bench was enjoyable. ;-))

The only thing I’m looking forward to this year is another whole year of Buckets strips!
