My computers always asking for passwords, like the stupid thing thinks it's in a spy movie... How should I know them!? You realize you made up the passwords it's asking for? That was yesterday!
As an IT person, it irritates me to the core when someone tells me their password when I ask them to type it in. “Don’t worry. I trust you.” That’s the point: you’re not supposed to trust me or anyone else asking for it. You should even be a little suspicious of whatever webpage or dialog box that is asking for it. It’s doubly irritating when their password is something easy to crack like “buckets48”. Triple irritating if I find I can log into their Amazon account with the same password. My right eye gets a little twitchy at that point.
