Gramps is no help either…

Okay, Frank surprised me. Maybe he’s not a run-of-the-mill opinionated curmudgeon. Maybe he’s a highly idiosyncratic opinionated curmudgeon. But it still sounds a lot like me, when I think about it.

Reminds me of Calvin’s father and his ‘scientific’ explanations.

My husband explains daylight savings as the time when it’s light enough to see all the leaves that need raking when you’re on your way to work, but not light enough to rake them when you get home.

I like Grandpa’s theory.

I actually saw a historical reference referring to DST as “Roosevelt Time.” Kind of sounds familiar, no?

What’s even stupider is how long this “storyline” has gone on. Hopefully it’ll end before we have to turn the classics forward.
