At least the boy has learned not to lie to your doctor about your health. I totally get it. If he complains to mom on Friday night or Saturday AM, she’s going to put the kibosh on all his weekend plans with his friends. He definitely doesn’t want that, because that will make being sick even more insufferable than it already is.
