Ah, yes . . . normal time: when it’s light enough in the morning to see all the yard work that needs to be done, but too dark to do it when you get home from your job.
We don’t have DST where I live. I’ve always thought we should switch some spring and just stay on it. Who needs brilliant sun at 4:00 a.m. in June and July?
I don’t care if its dark early or dark late I’d just like it to be steady. Commuting is hard enough without resetting the body’s clock which is more than the work of a couple minutes.
The Orignal reason for Day light savings time was so farmers would have the light to get more things done, as if they didn’t getup before dawn. Complete Bulltinkle!
I’m a morning person. The earlier the sun comes up, the better for me. On the other hand, I’m not so self-centered as to believe everyone needs what’s best for me. Let the outrage over DST continue. I shall listen, and consider, and be entertained.

Time change has been compared to cutting a strip off the bottom of your blanket and sewing it on the top.

It’s actually “daylight saving time”, not “savings”. Fun fact to know and tell.

or live north of the Arctic Circle and have days where sun never comes up, or goes down parts of the year.

It will be nice to not leave to go to work while it is still dark.

Remember the guy on the eastern side of the zone is an hour ahead of a guy on the west by sun time. All have to adjust.
