Moms are funny like that. When I was fake sick and didn’t want to go to school, my mom seemed to know. I had to stay in bed – no toys, no television, no books. But if I was REALLY sick, she would wrap me up in quilts, put me in the living room, put on my favorite shows, give me loads of books and toys and feed me my favorite foods. I could never figure out how she knew – until I had a daughter of my own and discovered EXACTLY what the difference was between really sick and fake sick. The difference was so obvious!
