Hmmm, the bus says RTA on the back. I guess it could be set in New Orleans. The “stal” (local colloquial pronunciation of style which rhymes with pal) is certainly popular there and RTA is who runs the buses. And there sure are a bunch of reverends in the city, many of whom believe in a bit of discipline. Like the ones at St. Augustine High School who were just reprimanded and the head master removed because they still paddled their students, many of whom have grown up to be the middle to upper class African-Americans missing from so many cities.
