Miss Overdunne: Children...this is Dusty. He's going to tell you about his life as a cowboy. Dusty: Howdy, buckaroos! This here is my car. I used it to round up cattle on the prairie when I had no help. I called it my "cattle-lack". Got kinda roughed up in the process. Girl: Where are the wheels? Dusty: My daughter keeps the wheels locked up in her garage so nobody'll steal such a valuable vehicle. Girl: Where are the license plates? Dusty: Well, little lady...you know how famous athletes sometimes have their uniform numbers retired? Girl: Yeah. Dusty: Well...the highway patrol was so sad to see me quit drivin' that they retired my license plates and sent 'em to the Cowboy Hall of Fame! Girl: Are you sure about all this? A school group visits Elderpark during "Older Americans month."
Welcome to Dusty’s fantasyland or tall tales.
