The Elderberries by Corey Pandolph and Phil Frank and Joe Troise for April 24, 2013
Transcript:
The Professor: Imagine...it was 36 years ago that man first stepped on the surface of the moon. What a triumph of modern science! Evelyn: We should have spent the money on education. The General: We beat the commies in the race to the moon. Yes, sir!! Dusty: I think it was all a fake. The Professor: I wonder if, in the future, four human beings will be able to agree on one thing? Evelyn: Sure! The General: Never! Dusty: Maybe.
NASA’s biggest problem was they did not make known (or market) all of the technological advances they had developed to get to the moon. If they had, the licensing fees alone could had financed all of their programs of today.
