Reminds me of an interview with a young police officer called to inspect a suspicious noise coming from the attic in the house of an elderly couple. Officer went up the ladder and opened the trap door only to be knocked off balance by a squirrel bolting for escape. The scarred but undaunted Officer pursues rodent to the living room where the rodent avoids capture by running into the fire place, where its tail catches fire, and then under the couch which also catches fire. An hour after the call the cop is taken to the hospital for bites and scratches and the couple is left with a half burned down house. Happened in Canada a decade or more ago now.
