Rats, being mammals , would only be another source of the meat that people just have to have.
additionally, the desire to eat rat meat is in direct proportion to the number of days one hasn’t eaten anything at all.
i prefer rat on a stick
Problem is, no one will be left to lower the flag after all the rat stew is eaten.
That’s going to be up there awhile.

I prefer smoked rats…. as in smoked out from under the corn crib by piped in truck exhaust. That’s a rat killin’.
