Don’t rake the leaves, just run over them with the mower/lawn tractor and mulch them up. Less time, less work, and much better for the lawn itself to have ground up leaves decompose into nutrients over the winter and spring.
Raking leaves always seemed dumb to me – unless it’s to make a pile for the kids to jump in.
