Interesting tidbit: Mel Blanc (the voice of Bugs Bunny) hated carrots. He tried all kinds of root vegetables, but nothing crunched like a carrot. He would do the sound with a carrot, then spit the chewed up mess into a bucket when the sound clip recording was over.
