That doesn’t add up…

I had a science teacher like that. I’d do the science work correctly (better than most in my class) and he’d go out of his way to knock points off for “bad grammar.” My mom (who has a master’s degree in microbiology) called him out on this at parent-teacher conferences. He basically told her to take a hike, it was his class and he was going to teach it as he saw fit. So she did. Straight to the principal’s office. She told the principal what was going on and instructed him to straighten my science teacher out or she would have the school board do it for him. He never quite stopped, but toned it down enough that it wasn’t bringing my GPA down anymore.

What a witch. :)

A few decades ago I took a test. The top of the test said “Read everything carefully before filling out this test.”. So I did that. And at the bottom it said, “Now fill in your name and turn the test in.”. So I did. Thirty minutes later everyone else was furiously erasing their answers.
