CG: OKAY!! I'll admit it!! There is no voter fraud! Its a sham! what do you want us to do? tell everybody we want to keep minorities , the elderly and the young from voting?!! we may want to break the very should and spirit of these people but we don't want to be rude about it!!

Hey Keith, don’t be put off by those who can’t or won’t see the truth in what you are saying. All of this talk about fraud should be aimed at the makers of the automatic voting machines rather than at individuals like minorities and the elderly.Evil men with vile intent are creating unjust laws to further their selfish agenda (lots of adjectives!), and they’ll hide behind these laws while they attempt to steal another election. People such as you, who bring these truths to light, are our salvation, for you will inspire the furor that will thwart and unseat these “faux patriots.”Keep up the good work. We clear thinking individuals salute you and your efforts!

A NAACP leader in Missippi was just convicted of voting 10 times in 2008. Over 1000 convited felons illegally voted in minnesota 2008 in a senate race decided by much less. It does indeed happen and 75% of public support showing IDs.

In my state we all vote by mail. There’s no concern of voter fraud here & there’s usually a better turnout higher than the national average. In 2004 there was a very close Gubernatorial election that required a recount. There were a handful of fraudulent votes that were cast in favor of the Republican candidate who ultimately lost.

Keith, Have you heard of Sen. Harold Metts of Providence Rhode Island District 6? He’s a black Democrat who backed a bill for Voter ID. The Voter ID law is very popular among minorities. Keith, please do your research.

What a delusional world some people live in. ". . . minorities, the elderly, and young people . . . "
Oh please. You need an ID to buy cigarettes, liquor, cash a check, and get on a plane. Minorities have ID’s. Young people have multiple ID’s, showing they are 21 even when they aren’t. The elderly need ID’s for a variety of needs, including getting their meds. If any non-drivers don’t have one, they can get a free ID from the state, and if they show up to the polling place without an ID, they can cast a provisional vote.
Get real. This is a controversy between people who want to make sure every legitimate vote counts, and people who want to continue to win elections by fraud.
Winning elections by fraud is the Chicago way, after all, and every person with half a brain knows it. Voter fraud is “Chicago values” to paraphrase the Mayor.

Totally agree with Tlro, and also I hate to pop Keith Knight’s bubble, but the elderly is one of the staunchest Republican groups out there.

Keith, I’ll take your worries over voter suppression more seriously when I see you create a cartoon excoriating the New Black Panthers standing in front of polling sites, brandishing clubs and acting menacing. Now, that’s real voter suppression, and I doubt your supporters inundated AG Holder’s office with letters demanding prosecution in that case! The transparency of your faux rage is stunning!

So, if we act “stupidly” and make fun of a subject, that’s suppose to mean it’s NOT true? How ignorant! You need an I.D. card to buy cigarettes and alcohol in this country, but not to vote? If they can make it to the polls to vote, they can surely make it to the DMV and get an I.D. card.

Spare me this left-wing “feature.” Can I just get what I signed up for?

Simliar to the ’we’re not racist, we just don’t like his policies’ lie. To the poster who mentioned Chicago Politics, the voter ID con is based on the VOTER voting fraudulently, not the system gaming up votes. And that ain’t isolated to Chicago – the downstate Repubs are just as corrupt. You’ll all notice that the people who want Voter ID cards so badly think that a national ID card would be too expensive and add another bureau to the federal government. Voter ID cards would’nt be a bad idea, at that – if the true motive was to help everyone legally entitled to, to do so. It’s already out that this is NOT the reason for this sudden ‘need’, which is statistically insignificant.
