From The Wall Street Journal – “…Joint Committee on Taxation are forecasting that the biggest percentage tax reductions in 2018 will go to those making between $20,000 and $50,000 per year. And the Joint Tax forecast admits that tax relief is coming for every income bracket.”
And, from the Internal Revenue Service – “We anticipate issuing the initial withholding guidance (Notice 1036) in January reflecting the new legislation, which would allow taxpayers to begin seeing the benefits of the change as early as February.”
Translated, that means the amount of withholding coming out of your paycheck will go down in February.
