This is sadly true.

I’m not sure where this came from, but as a Vet, I’m thankful.

We’re fighting because certain interests need to keep their finances healthy by having things blown up. The people are expandable.

Is this an old comic? There has been Gays in the Armed Forces since before don’t ask don’t tell. " Don’t ask, don’t tell " (DADT) was the official United States policy on military service by gay men, bisexuals, and lesbians, instituted by the Clinton Administration. The policy was issued under Department of Defense Directive 1304.26 on December 21, 1993, and was in effect from February 28, 1994, until September 20, 2011."

Good point and well done.

The Vet is still here and he’s working on stuff that happened in the past by talking to his mentor.

And now things have progressed to the point where a gay, married, Rhodes Scholar, polyglot vet (that means he speaks multiple languages) can get elected to political office in Indiana and run for President and be appointed Secretary of Transportation. Still far to go, but barriers are being taken down.

President Eisenhower called it long ago. He’s the one who said watch out for the “Military-Industrial Complex”.
