Well, Mr. Cop, I live about half a mile from a fire station, and I hear them going out on calls many times every day—not much time for playing pool. And, oh yeah, sometimes they are hurt or even killed on those calls while they are busy saving property and lives. I think my dime is being well spent.

I’d like to imagine that, policemen who aren’t always on for violence.

A car was pulled over down the street from where I live close enough for me to get a good view of what was going on through my front window

Guns drawn, “Get out of the car!” On a speaker, it was a tense situation for about half an hour

Took 2 hours for 2 squad cars and 4 officers waiting for a truck to come get the car

That time didn’t look very productive from where I was sitting
