KK: I remember the first time I changed our babys diaper!! I wa shocked to see how much he resembled a plucked uncooked chicken!! KN: Did it make you want to quit eating poultry? KK: It made me want to eat the baby!!
I often buy whole chickens and take them apart myself (to save money and to have parts to make stock). I have also tried to teach some of my friends how to disassemble a whole chicken … and twice now I have been told: “Yuck—that looks like a naked baby. I’ll keep on buying my chicken in parts, neatly packaged in plastic!”
