    So that’s it. I always thought I couldn’t play because I never practiced enough.

    Reminds me of the SNL skit with John Belushi doing Beethoven/Ray Charles http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X20woQAh-c4

    What better way to start the morning than with Beethoven at the piano. Thanks, Pab!

    HAHAHAHAHAHA!

    My keyboard does this on a semi-regular basis, which requires restarting it and then unplugging and re-plugging it to the computer….

    @fear-ciuil,

    If it is a USB keyboard on Windows, try going to Device Manager (right-click My Computer => Properties) and under USB go to USB Root => Power tab. Uncheck the box for shutting down to conserve power; do this for each USB root.

    My mouse had the same issue.

    Last panel lower right does look like Beethoven’s Fifth, but it’s too small on my screen to be sure.

    This represents what Beethoven might have done if he’d had a modern Steinway grand instead of a mere early 19th-century Broadwood fortepiano. (To paraphrase those performers who like to justify performing early music on modern instruments.)
