Gladstone: “God’s only mistake.”Queen Vicky once said, “He always addresses me as if I were a public meeting.”
I think he’s referrring to Zork rather than HHGTTG; both games used the twisty passages theme, though Zork was earlier.
Gladstone was too objective, aloof and formal. Stuffy.Disraeli, on the other hand, treated Queen Victoria like a ‘girlfriend’, often gossipy, sometimes fawning. She loved it.
Good royalty can always pay to have bothersome gladstones removed. They are said to have a lot of gall.
Watch out for the grues.
I can’t find any evidence that Gladstone was ever knighted. He was offered a peerage a couple of times but he turned those offers down.
LOL!!!
Don’t get mad… GET GLAD!
These are the new adventure games of Queen Victoria.
As I’m very late getting to these, here’s my command after Oscar Wilde shows up in yesterday’s strip… “Change wallpaper”
