I use FB just to keep in touch with groups of friends and all “games” are hidden- waste of time, and often cause problems. I have great security with Norton 360, but don’t tempt fate, either.
Hey folks, update on the new book (“Unamused Birds.”)I’m nowhere near the number of pre-sales I need to get the book to press through my usual printer. I’d need about 20 more copies sold before I’d have the money to get the presses rolling.
So I’m going to have a slight change of plans. This Friday I’m going to close the pre-sale item in my store. If I get the 20 additional pre-orders by then I will do a full print run, ship the pre-sold copies when they arrive, and keep the book on sale.
If I don’t, I will go to the same printer I ended up using for “Meet the Royals” and will do a limited run for just the pre-ordered copies. The books will ship when they arrive (which may not be until after the original December 12th release date) and the book will not go on wide sale as I had originally planned. After the new year, if I can scrape the money together, I’ll do a full run so I have copies to take on the convention circuit with me. If not, the pre-order people will have a very scarce book on their hands.

You will be assimilated. Resistance is feudal.

Repeating from last night, for stragglers:

And when dealing with enemy feudal lords, always save your deadliest weapon — movable type — to use as a last resort.
