With Sarah Palin, you could at least follow her thought processes; she just can’t express herself clearly (i.e., offended that Katie thinks Alaska is so provincial that they don’t get the print media== “All of them”; Russian ICBMs aimed at lower 48 come over Alaska == ""As Putin rears his head and comes into the air space…"
With Trump, OTOH, he just starts out a thought path and then veers crazily around on tangents and asides and off-hand comments and if he’s lucky eventually finds his way back and completes the thought. It would be funny to watch if the consequeces weren’t so serious.
That’s what get for imagining you get anything really useful from THE NEWS. It’s entertainment. Intended only for entertainment. That is to say intended to gather viewer numbers to the end of selling ads and making money. For example, the only polls that matter are those whose results are interpreted according to the electoral vote. By those numbers, the election has been over for months. Hillary won. But all you will ever hear mentioned on the national news is the popular vote polls in which the numbers sound close. But if they told you in July the election was a done deal, they couldn’t keep you watching election news, much less debates. Using the media for news make you more ignorant. You not only do not get any reliable facts. The news you get is almost always to some degree patently false. And really, very little of it affects you personally. You just make yourself miserable with affairs that are someone else’s to deal with.
There is fact-checking going on; sometimes complete with videos. Mr. Trump and his followers still deny, deny, deny. And then polls say that journalist can’t be trusted. It’s not a healthy situation.

Wow. Cable used to have only 57 channels with nothing on (Thanks Boss) Now it’s over 300 and the only thing worth watching is BBC.
